B. S. Shantharaju
Mr. B.S. Shantharaju has helped to lead and grow some of India’s largest public services companies. Most recently as CEO, he helped build out Indus Towers into one of the world’s largest operating telecom tower companies. Prior to Indus Towers, Mr. Shantharaju served as CEO of Delhi International Airports and as Managing Director for Gujarat Gas Company Limited. Earlier in his career, he held positions at BG Group, SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals (now part of Glaxo Smithkline), Hindustan Aeronautics and Eicher Tractors
Narayan K. Seshadri
Mr. Narayan Seshadri is an Independent Director and heads the Audit Committee and the Nomination & Remuneration Committees on the Board. Mr. Narayan Seshadri Mr. Narayan Seshadri is the Chairman & CEO of Tranzmute Capital which he co-founded in 2008, and Halcyon Resources and Management. In addition, he currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several companies including AstraZeneca Pharma India, Kalpataru Power Transmission, Magma Fincorp, PI Industries, and WABCO India. In 2006 he established a Special Situations Fund to invest in distressed and undervalued businesses. Prior to that, he led KPMG Consulting, India after he merged Andersen’s Business Consulting practice into it.
Bhuvan Srinivasan joined KKR in 2014 and is a member of the Private Equity team focused on health care, industrials, media/technology, and education. He is also part of the Global Impact team. Mr. Srinivasan has been involved in KKR's investments in EuroKids International, Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited, Radiant Life Care, Emerald Media, JBF, Gland Pharma and Coffee Day Holdings. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Srinivasan was with Bain Capital in Mumbai for over three years. Prior to that, Mr. Srinivasan worked at Bain & Company in Singapore as a strategy consultant serving clients in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Prior to Bain & Company, Mr. Srinivasan was a research scientist working on real-time glucose sensing at Medtronic Diabetes in Los Angeles. Mr. Srinivasan holds MSE and BSE degrees with honors in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. with honors from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Vaishali Nigam Sinha
Vaishali Nigam Sinha is the Chief Sustainability, CSR and Communications Officer at ReNew Power, one of India’s largest renewable energy IPPs (Independent Power Producer). Under the ambit of ReNew India Initiative (RII), Vaishali drives the company’s corporate social responsibility) and sustainability initiatives and is also Founding Chair, ReNew Foundation.
A strong advocate of equal participation of women in economic activities, Vaishali is also passionate about issues such as climate change, sustainable development and promoting women entrepreneurs and leaders. She is a regular speaker at international forums like the Climate Week NYC, California Governor’s Global Climate Action Summit, Clinton Global Initiative, and events organized by WEF, UNDP and United Nations Global Compact Network. She is a President’s invitee to Columbia World Projects – a high-level forum at Columbia University created to tackle major global challenges. She also serves on the President’s Advisory Council at Wellesley College and the Columbia Global Centre’s Mumbai Advisory Board.
Vaishali serves as an Independent Woman Director on the Board of several leading corporates. She is a member of the Governing Council of the UN Global Compact Network India (GCNI) and Chairperson of their Gender Committee; Chairperson of South Asian Women In Energy (SAWIE) – a body set up under USISPF to promote diversity and gender equity in energy sector; Chair, CII’s Indian Women Network and Woman Empowerment Committee and a member of the Governing Council of the Vedica Scholars Programme for Women. She is also a member of the Advisory Council of the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development and Advisory Committee of the India Climate Collaborative- a platform promoting policy advocacy and thought leadership on climate change. Vaishali has also authored several opinion articles on a range of topics from sustainability to gender parity to CSR which have been published in leading Indian dailies, magazines, web portals and industry journals.
In December 2020, Vaishali was named in She The People ‘s 40 Over 40 list for women achievers. In October 2020, Vaishali was named among India’s 100 most important PR & Corporate Communication professionals and listed among Asia’s Most Influential Women in Renewable Energy by Solar Quarter magazine. Vaishali was felicitated for her outstanding contribution towards woman empowerment by CSR Journal in July 2019 and also recognized as being amongst India’s Top 25 Impactful CSR Leaders by the India CSR Network in April 2019. In 2019, CEO Today magazine conferred the Businesswoman of the Year Award on her for her achievements as a woman professional. She was also a National Finalist at the NITI Aayog Women Transforming India Awards 2018, finishing amongst top 2% of women from across India.
Vaishali has completed the Owners and Presidents Management Program from Harvard Business School and has a Masters’ in Public Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, where she was an American Association of University Women (AAUW) scholar. After a decade on Wall Street and then London as an investment banker, she returned to India, where after several years in banking, she is now a social entrepreneur.
Hwee Hua Lim
Ms. Lim Hwee Hua is a senior advisor to KKR and executive director of Tembusu Partners. She previously served as an elected member of Singapore’s Parliament from December 1996 until May 2011 and served as Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and Transport, as well as in the role of Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of Singapore. Before joining the Singapore Cabinet, Ms. Lim was Managing Director at Temasek Holdings where she oversaw divestments, company restructurings and sat on several corporate boards.
Mr. Rupen Jhaveri joined KKR in 2009 and has been a member of the India investing team since its founding. At KKR, he has led investments in Ramky Enviro, Alliance Tires, Magma Fincorp, Dalmia Cement, Max Financial Services, Emerald Media, SBI Life Insurance, Bharti Infratel, and HDFC. Before joining KKR, he was with Goldman Sachs & Co. in its principal investment area and Warburg Pincus in Mumbai where he was involved in several investments including Mahindra & Mahindra, NDTV, Amtek Auto, Sigma Electric, Sintex, Dainik Bhaskar amongst others.
M. Goutham Reddy
Mr. Goutham Reddy is the Managing Director and CEO of Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited. Mr. Reddy brings nearly 23+ years of experience related to the environment. He has the credit and distinction of establishing India’s first integrated hazardous waste, medical waste and municipal waste management facilities and has been part of developing India’s largest Waste to Energy Project. Prior to being CEO of REEL, he worked as Executive director of Ramky Group, an infrastructure conglomerate focusing on public and environmental infrastructure and Real Estate. Prior to Ramky Enviro, Mr. Reddy worked as a research scientist at the Environment Protection Training and Research Institute, a premier autonomous research institute of the State Government of Andhra Pradesh. Mr. Reddy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Nagarjuna University in Andhra Pradesh and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from University of Nevada, U.S.A.
Mr. Masood Mallick is the Joint Managing Director of REEL and heads global operations. Prior to REEL, he has advised leading international corporations, investors, financial institutions and law firms on environmental issues in India and internationally for close to 25 years. He is a recognized subject matter expert in the management of hazardous materials, waste management and rehabilitation of contaminated sites. Before joining Ramky Enviro, Mr. Mallick served as a Managing Director and a member of the Global Senior Leadership Team at Environmental Resources Management (ERM), a global provider of environmental, health, safety, risk, and social consulting services. He led ERM’s operations in South Asia and co-led its Global Innovation initiative. Mr. Mallick has also advised the Government of India on environmental policy and legislation, including regulatory standards and the country’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Mr. Anil Khandelwal is the Joint Managing Director and CFO of REEL and is a qualified chartered accountant. He heads finance and accounts, procurment, IT, risk and contracts management at REEL. With over 30 years of professional experience working with international corporations, Mr. Khandelwal brings extensive financial and commercial expertise including managing cash flow needs to foster organizational growth in India and international markets. Before joining REEL, he was the Chief Financial Officer with Tata Projects Ltd, a subsidiary of the Tata Group.
